CONCEPTUAL DESIGN STUDIES OF AN 84 GHz, 500 kW, CW GYROTRON

The feasibility of an 84 GHz, 500 kW, CW gyrotron for ECRH on an experimental tokamak will be presented in this paper. Mode competition and mode selection procedures are carefully investigated by considering various candidate modes and the TE_10,4 mode is chosen as the operating mode. A conventional cylindrical cavity resonator with weak input and output tapers and parabolic roundings is considered for interaction studies. Self-consistent, both single mode and time-dependent, calculations are carried out and power and efficiencies are computed for a typical set of beam parameters. The results show that an output power of well over 500 kW, CW and efficiency around 40% can be reached without a depressed collector.     

Invariant Cocycles Have Abelian Ranges

 Let R be a discrete nonsingular equivalence relation on a standard probability space , and let V be an ergodic strongly asymptotically central automorphism of R. We prove that every V-invariant cocycle with values in a Polish group G takes values in an abelian subgroup of G. The hypotheses of this result are satisfied, for example, if A is a finite set, a closed, shift-invariant subset, V is the shift, μ a shift-invariant and ergodic probability measure on X, the two-sided tail-equivalence relation on X, a shift-invariant subrelation which is μ-nonsingular, and a shift-invariant cocycle.     

Analysis of Aperture Field of Circular Groove Guide Horn Antenna by Using FD-TD Method

This paper presents an instance of using FD-TD method to analyze the aperture field of circular groove guide horn antenna. This process is one part of a hybrid method to solve the radiation field of aperture antenna. To verify the calculated aperture field the radiation pattern is computed from it and compared with the measured one. Good agreement is reached.     

Controlling quantum coherence of atom laser by light with strong strength

A new method for controlling the quantum coherence of atom laser by applying input light with strong strength is presented within the framework of quantum dynamical theory. Unlike the case of rotating wave approximation(RWA), we show that the non-classical properties, such as sub-Poisson distribution and quadrature squeezed effect, can appear in the output atom laser beam with time. By choosing suitable initial RF phase, a steady and brighter output of squeezed coherent atom laser is also available.     

Simulation of a High Harmonic Gyrotron with Axis-Encircling Electron Beam and Permanent Magnet

A computer code for simulation of beam-field interaction in a resonant cavity of a gyrotron has been developed. It is based on a self-consistent, time-independent, single-mode physical model. The code has been applied to the analysis of the electrodynamical system of a novel high-harmonic gyrotron with axis-encircling beam and a permanent magnet. In this paper both the physical model and numerical techniques used are outlined. Some results of the numerical experiments are presented and discussed.

The authors achieved the temporal coherent control in an Er^3＋ doped telluride glass, one kind of disordered solids. The upconversion at 670 nm was modulated and the dephasing time was simulated as 300 fs. Moreover, the photon echo signal gave the dephasing time due to the phonon interaction. The agreement between the two data indicates that the interaction between the wavepacket and the phonon leads to the fast disappearance of wavepackets interference, which is helpful for the tech- nique to be applied to the disordered solids.     

直接置换法制备包覆型纳米铜-银双金属粉末

 以AgNO₃为主盐，采用直接置换法初步制备了包覆型纳米铜-银双金属粉末，分析了工艺条件对包覆效果的影响，并用透射电子显微镜、X射线能量色散谱仪和X射线衍射仪进行了表征。实验结果表明：纳米铜-银双金属粉末为包覆型结构，平均粒径约70 nm，分散性较好，表面银的原子分数达到74.28%。在洗涤过程中加入一定量的保护剂，有效解决了纳米铜粉的氧化问题。     

CsNiCl3晶体的光谱精细结构、零场分裂参量及Jahn-Teller效应

应用不可约张量理论构造了三角对称晶场中3d²/3d⁸态离子的45阶可完全对角化的微扰哈密顿矩阵，研究了CsNiCl₃晶体的光谱精细结构、晶体结构、零场分裂参量、Jahn-Telller效应以及自旋单重态对Ni²⁺离子基态能级的影响，理论与实验相符合.在此基础上，进一步研究了以前工作中被忽略的自旋-自旋耦合作用和Trees修正对CsNiCl₃晶体的光谱精细结构和零场分裂参量的影响，发现有四种机理会影响零场分裂参量：1)自旋-轨道耦合机理，2)自旋-自旋耦合机理；3)自旋-轨道与自旋-自旋联合耦合机理；4)自旋-轨道与Trees修正联合耦合机理，其中自旋-轨道耦合机理是最主要的，其他三种机理也是不可忽略的. 关键词： 基态能级 精细结构 零场分裂 自旋-自旋耦合     

含吩噻嗪及其衍生物的聚合物有机电致发光材料的合成和器件制备

利用吩噻嗪单体的空穴传输能力、吩噻嗪衍生物单体的拉电子特性和它们分子结构的非共面性,制备了高效的含吩噻嗪及其衍生物结构单元的对苯撑乙烯聚合物有机电致发光材料P1。同时在单体中引入了烷氧基和长链烷基,使得合成的聚合物在四氢呋喃、氯仿、二氯甲烷、甲苯等溶剂中有较好的溶解性。研究吩噻嗪衍生物单体的拉电子特性对聚合物P1的电子传输性能的影响,合成不含吩噻嗪衍生物的同一类型聚合物P2。制备以聚合物P1和P2为发光层的单层OLED器件,经测量,聚合物P1的器件外量子效率是聚合物P2器件的3.5倍。
